FIDO will be in the audience (!) cheering on Danica as she competes on Dancing With The Stars and we are just wagging with all the excitement ! If you would like to support Danica too – here’s how!
Phone & Online Tips and Instructions to Vote For FIDO’s friend DANICA!
* Vote by Phone *
The number of votes per phone is usually equivalent to the number of dancers competing that week. For example, on March 17, the first night, we were allotted 12 votes per phone… PER PHONE: Our cell phone, our spouse’s cell phone, our home phone….you get the picture. For example, if you had access to 4 phones (with different phone numbers) that’s 4 x 12 votes: you could’ve voted 48 times on the first night, just by phone! It’s a toll-free 800 number and as simple as dialing, hanging up after you hear “Thank you for voting for Danica and Val!” and hitting “redial” until you get a recording that tells says you’ve used all your votes for that phone line.

You have a 3-hour window for phone calls each week - beginning the moment the shows starts airing in your local time*, and going for only 60 minutes after the show ends. Remember, you can start dialing the moment the show begins.
Troubleshooting: You might get the message you’ve already used all your votes using that phone, and you know it’s not true – KEEP DIALING. It’s said there’s a glitch in the system that can deliver this message if the phone lines are overloaded.
Busy Signal: A busy signal can mean 2 things:
1. You’re calling either before or after the 3-hour window in your time zone and the lines are not open.
2. The lines are overloaded.
So if you get a busy signal and it’s still within the 3-hour window in your time zone, please KEEP DIALING.

In addition to phone voting, for every Facebook account you and someone in your household has, you can again cast the full number of votes allotted for that week. And you can use the same computer to vote on multiple Facebook accounts. Just Log Off from one account before logging on to another.
You have 24 hours to place your votes on Facebook, beginning at 5 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time every Monday, and closing at 5 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time on Tuesday.
Type Dancing with the Stars in the FB search window, and choose the Official page with the blue circle and white check mark after the name
“Like” the DWTS page, if you haven’t already - Click on “VOTE”.
A page will open that has small squares with pictures of all the dance teams. Just click on Danica and Val’s picture the full number of times. There is a counter on the page that helps you keep track.

You can cast your multiple weekly votes online at ABC.com. (In addition to the ones you cast on Facebook!) You have 24 hours to place your votes at ABC.com, beginning at 5 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time every Monday, and closing at 5 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time on Tuesday.
In order to vote, you can Sign In with your Twitter or FB accounts, or Register at ABC.com. To Register, just go to this link and fill out this simple form: http://abc.go.com/site/reg/signup
The voting page on ABC.com will look just like the one on Facebook, with all the teams’ pictures. VOTE by clicking on Danica and Val’s picture as many times as is allowed. There is a counter on the page that helps you keep track, and it will let you know when you’ve used all your votes.

FIDO has known Danica for some time now, and while we loved her on The Wonder Years, and are now the smartest of the dogs thanks to her brilliant (and fun!) math books, what we really admire most about Danica is her warm personality and love of animals.
