Pet JetSetter bag for Fido: Product review

I’ve held a secret close to me for 6 months and I can’t keep it anymore.
FIDO Friendly fans and friends, the Pet JetSetter bag by Metzger’s Designs was sent to me for product testing back in March. To appropriately test this, I decided to take it everywhere with me that I traveled. I’ve logged an awful lot of road miles this year and this bag looks like it did the day it arrived to my house.
And it is oh-so-designer cute, multi-pocketed, the one bag that people stop me to ask about at the dog park, trade shows, while traveling, on the plane, at festivals, and conferences. I finally wrote to the brainchild behind this bag and asked her for some business cards to pass out.
What makes this unlike any other bag? I carry it everywhere and it holds up to the bashing and thrashing I give it. Six outside pockets have universal symbols on them to carry Fido’s: water bowl, food bowl, water bottle, treats, bones, comb and brush. That’s just the outside. The bag came with two stainless steel bowls that slid picture perfect into the outer pockets.
How about the inside? The pattern is so high-end designer in look. I could imagine someone at a horse derby carrying this along and fitting right in. These bags are also unisex, so I’ve given a few as gifts since receiving this to product test. While attending business events, I don’t like to carry my purse along with all of my pooch’s belongings. The inside of the Pet JetSetter bag allows for all of Dexter’s goodies, blanket, meds, as well as my wallet, makeup, and date planner. It also has an adjustable strap that never wavered in its duty to carry my load of everything but the kitchen sink.
I have the brown design but it also is available in pink, brown, and black with the unique interior design. While touted as an overnight bag, I’ve used it for day trips, weekend getaways, and a professional yet fun conference bag. It’s sat on the ground at the dog park and been in overhead compartments on airplanes. Looks as good as day one. And I’m sure I’ve overdone it on the overload of contents. It took the beating.
As far as specs, the detachable shoulder strap can be used as a quick-fix temporary leash. The signature canvas wipes clean (I can attest to this!), vinyl covers the top and bottom (except in black), the top zippers closed, ring to clip keyfob, and is 18 inches long, 5 inches wide, and 11 inches high.
Ooh and a little furry puppy friend we met in Denver (Cosmo Havanese) decided to peek into the Pet Jetsetter bag because he sniffed treats!
So the cat’s out of the bag, the secret’s been revealed. But the dog’s belongings are in it. Right where they belong. Thanks to Metzger’s Designs for such a stellar product.
