The resort’s new signature restaurant, Tidal, offers fresh “craft and catch” cuisine, artfully selected for the summer season and inspired by the water’s changing tides. Barefoot Bar & Grill, a casual venue that honors Paradise Point’s island roots, is a local favorite for its laid-back atmosphere and panoramic views of Mission Bay. 

The most unique feature of dining in paradise is the ability to access the resort’s restaurants by boat. Paradise Point’s private, full-service marina offers the opportunity for guests to spend the day on the water before docking free of charge for a beachfront bite – a seamless “dock and dine” experience.

Those who would rather not helm their own vessel can still enjoy a day on the bay by hopping aboard the resort’s Scenic Bay Cruise. Offered now through Labor Day, this 60-minute boat tour of Mission Bay delivers striking views of the Pacific Ocean, SeaWorld, Fiesta Island and the downtown San Diego skyline. For a more hands-on experience, Paradise Point’s marina is offering a variety of summer watersports including jet skiing, kayaking, wakeboarding and stand-up paddleboarding. 

As the sun heats up over the shimmering waters of Mission Bay, so does the energy during Paradise Point’s Sunday Fun Day Summer Concert Series. Hosted on the waterfront outdoor patio of the Barefoot Bar & Grill, the summer afternoon concert series will feature live music by San Diego's favorite rock cover bands, local brews and island-inspired signature cocktails. Running Sundays from noon to 4 p.m., now through September 28, this ideal summer experience offers the chance to sing along, dance or just relax with live music amidst San Diego’s cool breezes, tranquil waters and soft sandy beaches.
