Mr Pish dog explorer, 14 years young, we salute you!

In our 50th celebratory issue, on newsstands and subscribers mailboxes now, FIDO Friendly magazine names their 50 best in the world of dogs – from most FIDO Friendly cities to the coolest B&B’s and even dogs making a difference. In the category of dog explorers, one of our faves is the incomparable Mr. Pish.

Mr. Pish is a 14-years-young Jack Russell Terrier who epitomizes dog exploration with mom K.S. “Kat” Brooks of Spokane Washington. He's posed with the Olympic Torch in Trail, BC, Canada; met tiny burrowing owls in Moose Jaw, Manitoba, Canada; stood at the starting line at the Talladega Super Speedway; explored Garnet Ghost Town in the mountains of Montana; was interviewed on CBS42's morning TV news program in Birmingham, Alabama; and posed in front of our nation's Capitol,” reported Brooks. She advised newcomers to have good control, never go too long or in temperature extremes. She loves seeing the excitement in Mr. Pish’s eyes when he goes somewhere new. March on, Mr. Pish. FIDO Friendly salutes you!

We also love that Mr. Pish is a learning and literacy advocate. Wuffs to that! Visit Mr. Pish's website and learn more about this traveling terrier.

Mr. Pish and his dog mom recently appeared on KHQ and not only mentioned the FIDO Friendly honor, but shared all about Mr. Pish’s travels and being the paw-some pooch he is. Check it out:
