NYC Boutique Hotel Ramps Up VIPaws Pet Program, Plays Host to the Nation’s Top Dogs

From treadmills to energy bars and a delectable Doggie Delights menu, Affinia Manhattan, an official hotel of the 138thannual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, is rolling out the red carpet for pooches during and after the show from now until Wednesday, February 12.
The newly renovated Affinia Manhattan, a pet-friendly hotel in New York City, is once again an official hotel of the annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, the nation’s premier canine event. In its 16th year of catering to the nation’s top dogs and their trainers, Affinia Manhattan is pulling out all the stops with a variety of canine services and amenities, and welcoming this year’s competitors with all the amenities of its recently launched VIPaws pet program.
A spacious terrace suite will be transformed into a complimentary VIPaws Suite, featuring an outdoor play area, treadmills courtesy of DogTread®, upscale pet retailer Jax & Bones chew toys; and an assortment of YaffBars, the world's first energy bar that both dogs and owners can enjoy.
A Wags & Wines reception on Sunday, February 9, from 5:00p.m. – 6:00p.m., will feature play stations designed by Architecture for Dogs, YaffBars, a fashion display of protective outerwear for dogs courtesy of YaffBars sister company, Spot the Dog, and a selection of wine from NakedWines.com for the hotel’s two-legged guests.
At the reception, guests will can donate to Affinia Hotels’ charitable partner, the Humane Society of New York. Also, when guests reserve Affinia Manhattan’s VIPaws Pet program, a $10 donation will also be made to the charity.
Guests can treat their pooch to the Doggie Delights menu at Niles New York City restaurant.
