Adopt-A-Less-Adoptable-Pet Week: Spread the word for Petfinder.com
September 14, 2011 • Rescue • Most Popular
Less-than-adoptable pets. Why oh why is there such a concept at all? Don't all dogs and cats, pets of all shapes and sizes in shelters need their forever homes? For one reason or another, there are those pets that society has dubbed "less than adoptable." With ardent fervor and spotlight in hand (er, paw), Petfinder.com is casting light on these pets.
What is a less than adoptable pet? The breed might not be one that is popular, they have special needs, maybe they are the wrong color or size? Perhaps someone decided they are too old and simply gave them up. Whatever the case, Petfinder.com has dubbed September 17-25 "Adopt-A-Less-Adoptable-Pet Week" and FIDO Friendly magazine is proud to spread the word.
Maybe you have a less-than-adoptable pet or gave a dog, cat, rabbit, ferret, or something else... a second chance. We'd love to hear about your experience.
In the meantime, we'd wag, roll over and beg if you'd spread the word and let your friends and co-workers, family, etc know about this paw-some cause for a second chance
One share, one tweet, one "forward message" and you could be saving a life. Here is a link of these extra special pack we'd love for you to view and share: PETFINDER LESS-THAN-ADOPTABLE AND OH-SO-AWESOME PETS
By the way, the dog in the photo is oh-so-adoptable and his name is Rudy. You can learn more about Rudy by visiting: RUDY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME
