68 animal welfare organizations in 28 states selected to receive grant awards
In early February, BISSELL Pet Foundation (BPF) announced its latest grant cycle, which will provide 10,564 cats and 4,176 dogs with spay/neuter procedures to prevent unwanted litters. The purpose of this funding resonates with BPF’s mission to find every pet a loving home.
“BISSELL Pet Foundation is awarding $413,510 in spay/neuter funding to 68 animal welfare organizations across 28 states,” said Cathy Bissell, Founder of BISSELL Pet Foundation. “We’ve seen the impact spay/neuter makes in shelters and the communities where they reside. With this funding, 14,740 pets will be impacted to prevent further homelessness across the country.”
Typically, the foundation opens two grant cycles each year to its partner network of over 5,000 shelters and rescues in all 50 states. Organizations apply for funding and BPF allocates its support based on need. Interested organizations can learn more about the partners for pets program by visiting www.bissellpetfoundation.org/p4p/.
