Do you think dogs have a twin? One dog has found his and how you can get involved:

My heart beats dog. So many dogs have left pawprints on my heart but none as much as my belated baby girl, Brandy Noel, and my baby boy, who is 2-1/2 years young, Dexter.

It is said that for each of us on this earth we have a twin. My Dexter found his recently thanks to a sweet man whose heart beats and oozes dog. His name is Terry and he asked me to give a name to a dog he took in to foster. Why me? Who is Terry? Terry’s heart is so big that he takes in foster after foster and loves cocker spaniels.

So I named the dog, who reminded Terry of my Dexter. His name is Rudy and he needs his forever home. Currently, Terry is taking care of Rudy but he is looking for his permanent place in this world.

GCCSR background: GCCSR has been in existence since June 2010, but we have a total of 15 years experience rescuing cockers as members of other groups. Since GCCSR was established, we have rescued 74 dogs, 39 of whom have been adopted, 17 of whom are currently adoptable, and 16 of whom are in their forever homes pending completion of medical care. We have been affiliated with Adopt-A-Pet since Fall 2010. The group of GCCSR volunteers is small, but very dedicated. We are quite active in fundraising, with adoption events and fundraisers scheduled almost every weekend (http://www.gulfcoastcockerspanielrescue.com/).
