Dyson Ball Vacuum: Product review
February 24, 2012 • Product Reviews •
I love my black Lab, Tasha, but I don’t enjoy the weekend bachelor duties of housekeeping, especially vacuuming. Tahsa is a great pal, but that black hair is everywhere! I had the opportunity to use the Dyson Ball™ vacuum and it changed my attitude. I let out a slow whistle when this beauty arrived on my doorstep.
Dyson Ball™ vacuums continue to evolve with DC41 Animal: a powerful and maneuverable machine that automatically adjusts to any floor surface for the best performance at the cleaner head. Where it matters most.
A team of 70 Dyson engineers have packed more technology in the ball while banishing fiddly pedals, awkward dials and cumbersome hose assemblies. Valves and ducting are housed within the ball – making for a sleeker machine capable of tighter turns around furniture and fixtures.
Increasingly, US homes are moving away from carpet, integrating multiple floor types – moving from Berber to bamboo. DC41’s self-adjusting base plate automatically adapts to all floor types. A protective seal helps remove dust from hard floors, while long bristles penetrate deep into carpet to remove ground-in dirt. Shorter bristles sweep the carpet top to remove surface dust and pet hair.
And, with the most advanced Radial Root Cyclone™ technology, like all Dyson vacuums, DC41 Animal does not lose suction. So while I still do not look forward to my ‘chores,’ at least now, I whistle while I work.
DC41 Animal is available at www.dyson.com at the manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $599.99.
