End of the World Pet Adoption Special

End of the World Pet Adoption Special!

Encinitas, CA -- Whether the Mayan calendar is right and the world is going to end this Friday....if December 21, 2012 is a "New Beginning" for the world...or if it's just the end of the week...you should have a pet to share this special day!  So.....now through Sunday your Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas is holding an "End of the World Pet Adoption Special." Just in case money really matters after Friday, adoption fees for all animals will be reduced through this Sunday.

Since we don't know if you'll have a few days or 15 years with your new pet, standard pet adoption procedure will apply. You walk through the kennels, cattery, or rabbitat at RCHS. When one of the animals reaches out its paw an touches your heart, you fill out an adoption application them meet with a counselor to make sure we're matching the needs of the pet with the desires of your family.
If it's a good match, you pay the reduced adoption fee and go home with this new pet that will be part of your family as long as it lives. However long that may be.

* Adoption fee for adult dogs and cats (6 months and older) is only $100
* Adoption fees for puppies and kittens younger than 6 months drops to $125.
* Rabbit adoption fees are only $25.

So if the world is going to end on Friday 12/21/12...why does the adoption special run through Sunday? Well....we're not all that confident about it. So adopters will still need to be prepared for as much as 15 or 20 years of unconditional love from their pets.

Which philosophy are you? The end of the world? Or it's a new beginning? Be ready either way!
