Ever wonder what your dog is thinking? There is now a new science-based service that helps you understand the world from your dog’s point of view. Purina ONE recently partnered with Dognition, a new service based on groundbreaking research in canine cognition that allows dog owners to understand what makes their best friends tick.
The Dognition Experience encompasses a wide range of services and benefits for dog owners, including a series of fun, interactive games to play with their dogs. Each game is designed to assess key dimensions of intelligence: empathy, communication, cunning, memory and reasoning. The games are based on cutting-edge scientific research spearheaded by Dognition Chief Science Officer Dr. Brian Hare of Duke University.
How does it work, you may ask? Well, it’s simple. It includes a simple online questionnaire about your dog and eye-opening games based on those developed in cognition research labs across the world. You’ll notice there is no pass or fail, but rather a detailed description of your dog’s strategies in five core areas including memory and reasoning, and your dog’s summary Dognition Profile.
