Fetch Eyewear Donates Profits to Support Animal Welfare

Fetch Eyewear, a designer eyewear company based in Portland, Ore., has set its sights on creating a fashionable brand focused on quality products and animal activism. To date, the eyeglass company has helped the Pixie Project complete more than 1,500 successful animal adoptions in the Portland-Metro area.
Fetch Eyewear’s altruistic mission is spurred by its goal to create eyewear customers can feel good about. In fact, Fetch Eyewear believes so strongly in this cause that it underwent a major rebranding in September 2012, from Amy Sacks Eyewear to Fetch Eyewear, in order to more clearly reflect its charitable intent.
This includes a long-term relationship with the Pixie Project, a 501C (3) non-profit animal rescue organization focused on finding forever homes for rescued animals. The rescue partners with Portland area shelters to reduce over-crowding while providing accessible veterinary care, including free spay and neuter services to pets of homeless and low-income owners.
With low overhead and flexible online shopping, Fetch Eyewear has created an affordable option for the fashion-conscious as well. All men’s glasses and women’s glasses are made with hand-finished cellulose acetate and stainless steel components. Frames can be ordered with plano, prescription, reading lenses, or as UVA/UVB protective sunglasses. Lenses are made from the finest optical plastic with anti-reflective and scratch resistant coatings.
The company’s commitment to quality, customer service and animal activism makes it a win-win for all involved. For more information on “the paws behind the cause,” visit Fetch’s website to select your pair of Fetch glasses today.
