It's every dog parent's dream: Their precious pooch on the cover of a newspaper or magazine. So when the latest issue of Downeast Dog News graced my mailbox (and yes, they are a hold it in your hand, oh I love the feel of paper against my fingertips paper), I was brimming with glee. You can also get a digital copy online if you so desire.
Ever want your dog to become a canine good citizen and not sure how? Want your dog to exhibit a good sense of dog manners and knowing basic crucial commants like "stay"? I wrote a piece about how to do in the comfort of your own abode, keep Fido happy and doing it positively. The end result? A strengthened bond between owner and dog and a sense of overall dog friendliness exuded by Fido. This comes in mega handy when traveling, trying to acclimiate Fido to the car and in dealing with new cities, sights, sounds and people.
Check out how I did it and let us know if you've got a CGC dog or if you have any questions. I am happy to help.
