(FDP), which recently unveiled its novel line of high-quality T-shirts and accessories for dog lovers, has established the FDP Affiliate Program to help dog rescue organizations raise much-needed funds. With the economy contributing to greater numbers of homeless dogs and fewer dollars available to help them, rescues and canine assistance programs face a daunting task in their daily efforts to provide the love, care and resources that these dogs need. Furthering FDP’s sole mission to make a difference in the life of a dog, the company’s new Affiliate Program offers a simple means for rescue organizations with an online presence to advance their fundraising goals.
“Any rescue wishing to participate in the FDP Affiliate Program simply needs to create an account and place our banner on its Web site,” explained Leanne Afetian, president of Freaky Dog People. “In exchange for sending customers to our online store, we pay a generous thirty percent commission on all sales directly back to the referring rescue organization. By teaming up with rescues in this way, we hope that we can help them develop a fundraising program that will allow them to care for and find loving homes for more dogs.”
In addition to offering rescues a constant, year-round revenue source, FDP’s Affiliate Program does not require participating organizations to purchase any product inventory. Orders are shipped directly to the customer by Freaky Dog People. The program is computer automated, utilizing software that generates real-time reports for participating rescues on demand and transferring funds earned monthly via PayPal. Furthermore, the program will provide additional exposure for affiliated rescue organizations through FDP’s own marketing efforts, opportunities to participate in cross promotions with other dog-related businesses and chances to partner with them on special events.
