French Moroccan Argan Oil - A New Way to Pamper FIDO

FIDO loves to be pampered and new Viva La Dog Spa Moroccan Oil ?  C'est si bon! (It's so good!)

Commonly referred to as Moroccan oil because it comes primarily from that country, Argan oil has become the buzz word in beauty products this season. Viva La Dog Spa, the French themed boutique brand of Cardinal Laboratories in Azusa, CA, has introduced a 2oz. bottle of Argan oil, Viva La Dog Spa Moroccan Oil, to aid in dog grooming. Argan oil is rich in Vitamin E and fatty acids which are excellent for moisturizing dry skin and hair. It's also instrumental in retaining moisture. It's used in cosmetic and hair care products to rehydrate dry hair and skin as well as a remedy for acne and flaky dermatitis. Spas and nail salons offer it as a special treatment to soften cuticles and moisturize dry skin.

Cardinal's Research and Development labs formulate the same rich humectant that is used in beauty salons and spas for Viva. For dogs, it adds shine and manageability to dry, dull, lackluster coats. It softens and moisturizes, allowing the tangle to be combed out. A little of the thick, fresh-scented oil goes a long way and it noticeably softens the hands that apply it. Originally for people, this exotic restoring oil works well for all types of dog coats. For Grooming Spas it offers another exclusive treatment that can increase services. For pet stores it offers consumers another way to pamper pets. Luckily for pet parents, dogs are very good at keeping secrets in case they want to borrow it.

The country of Morocco lies on the Atlantic Ocean on the northwest corner of Africa. On the east and southwest it becomes the Sahara Desert. That's where the thorny, gnarled Argan trees grow. Perfect for surviving in heat, drought and poor soil, they are vital for providing shelter and fruit to the local economy. The fruit of the Argan tree has a nut in the middle which contains 3 kernels of red-orange oil that that has long been used for skin care and natural medicines. It's time consuming and difficult to remove the thick, aromatic oil, which makes it expensive. Native cooperatives, supported by Morocco, employ woman, give them an incomee, teach them business and professional development and market the oil for export.

Viva La Dog Spa French Moroccan Oil is available at Petco and other neighborhood pet stores.
