Freshpet, the leading fresh pet food brand has launched a new Large Dog recipe, specially formulated to meet large dogs’ nutritional needs. This new brand will be available nationwide in local grocery mass and pet stores.
“Large dogs have particular needs that can help them live a long, healthy life. We developed this nutrient-dense, highly digestible formula with ingredients specifically tailored to support joints & mobility and nourish a healthy heart. The large bites are specially sized for bigger dogs, making this the ideal food for large dogs to enjoy and thrive on,” said Dr. Gerardo Perez-Camargo, SVP of Research & Development for Freshpet.
The multi-protein recipe is made of big meat pieces that include natural chicken, beef, egg, and salmon that is complemented with garden vegetables like carrots and green beans.
Freshpet Large Dog is packed with glucosamine and chondroitin that help keep joints healthy and mobile. Freshpet Large Dog is also a good source of Biotin, B12 and Vitamin C to keep large dogs healthy.
Additionally, Freshpet is expanding its plant-based pet food line with the launch of Spring & Sprout Patties in limited stores across the country.
Honey, my 12-lb bundle of energy, was provided Freshpet Select Small Dog to review. To say that she loved the bite-size beef and egg recipe is putting it mildly as she decided the first course of action before eating the savory meal was to meticulously take a few kibble size bites out, please them on the ground, and roll around on them first.
