Got a nervous dog, traveling worrier, or need itch relief for your dog? Earth Heart product review

Do you have a dog that needs a boost during thunderstorms or car rides?  Do you have a cat whose immune system seems a bit on the weak side, allowing his skin to get easily irritated and itchy?  If so, check out Earth Heart™ Inc. products for an all-natural remedy that is inexpensive yet effective.

As the owner of three dogs that could benefit from the Earth Heart line of products, I happily agreed to test them out for FIDO Friendly magazine.  Right now the product line consists of three products – Canine Calm, Travel Calm and Guard Well.  Canine Calm is geared towards dogs that get stressed out by things such as storms, shows, vet visits and other events.  Travel Calm is geared towards dogs that get stressed out by trips in the vehicle.  Guard Well is designed to boost a dog’s immune system, guarding against illness, chemicals and other environmental irritants.

The first product I tried was Canine Calm.  I was house sitting for a friend, and I brought my two youngest dogs with me, so they could hang out with her two dogs.  My youngest dog gets very overworked around new dogs, so I decided to go in the house ahead of time and spray the Canine Calm in the living room and the bedroom in which I would be staying.  I unloaded my car before bringing the dogs in, and I have to say, my youngest dog handled the new situation much more easily than he has in the past.  There was no growling at all (from the dogs in the house either), just a couple of barks and no hard stares from any of the dogs (which can occur during introductions).  The introduction went very smoothly.  Every evening, about a half hour before bedtime, I sprayed the quilt with Canine Calm, and all four dogs slept comfortably and easily in the bed with me.

The next product I tried was Travel Calm.  My youngest dog does not appreciate being in the vehicle whatsoever. Typically he whines, shakes and drools while in the car, regardless of position in the vehicle (back seat, front seat, crate, seatbelt, etc).  Following the instructions on the bottle, I sprayed the interior of the vehicle roughly 20 minutes before leaving home, and I also misted my hands and rubbed the mist onto his ears.  Jack Jack did much better in the vehicle, not whining or drooling at all.  He did still shake, but I’m hoping that with continued use of the Travel Calm, this will also diminish.

Guard Well is the last of the three products that I tried, and I’m continuing to use it daily.  I use it on my old dog to boost his immune system.  As he’s aged, he’s become more tired and less active, so I know his immune system isn’t as strong as it once was.  I haven’t noticed any major changes in him, but I haven’t been expecting any.  In this case I’m looking more for a protective effect.  I am also using it on my girl, who is very sensitive to environmental irritants.  She spends time every day chewing on her front feet and scratching her ears.  I have done many food trials, and have determined that this is not a food allergy.  I started using the Guard Well roughly six weeks ago.  I use it every morning before I leave for work.  I have noticed a significant reduction in her foot chewing, and the hair between her toes is noticeably less red.  She continues to scratch her ears, but I am able to interrupt the behavior and redirect her attention.  In my opinion, this is a great result, and I’m very happy that my girl isn’t as itchy as she once was.

Whether you have a dog that has issues or just a dog that you want to do your best for, I recommend checking out the Earth Heart line of products.  They’re inexpensive, all-natural and they smell great too.  If used as directed, there’s no harm to your dog, and a very good chance that they’ll help your dog feel their best!
