Hartz Angry Birds toys for dogs: FIDO Friendly product review
December 23, 2011 • Product Reviews
Can you imagine waking up on Christmas morning and seeing your dog’s eyes light up at the sight of Angry Birds?
Apparently, this video game phenom has spawned their own line of theme-inspired toys, and the folks at Hartz have launched it to fans everywhere. I feel as if I’ve been living under a rock of sorts because I had not heard of the line until Hartz revealed it. However, my dog and his friends had a supreme blast with the line, which includes:
- Bird plush balls
- Hard Heads
- Two heads bird and pig
- Tuff Stuff flyers (Frisbee-like action)
- Tiny Dog plush ball
- Tiny Dog two heads
There isn’t a heckufa lot I can say that isn’t positively blissful about watching a group of dogs play with new toys, especially ones that are current, trendy and fun. With winter rearing itself, I like the idea of indoor Frisbee play but without fearing a vase or lamp falling over. The Frisbee fun comes in the tuff stuff flyer, which is a fabric material and has a squeaker in the center.
Are these great for tough chewers? Probably not, but with supervision they can provide the dog (and yo) hours of play.
Bonus: There are funky sounds that get emitted from the soundchip in the center of the Hartz Angry Birds plush heads dog toys.
You can still get these in time for Christmas, as many Walmart stores are carrying them. Meantime, the green pig, red bird, and yellow bird that have found themselves under my Fido’s tree will be long enjoyed for months to come.

Stay tuned we will be giving a bunch of these away in January 2012 on the FIDO Friendly blog!
