Heritage Makers Deck of dog cards: Product review

My dog’s got a full house. Wait, maybe a royal flush. Okay he also knows when to hold ‘em and knows when to fold ‘em.

The cards aren’t stacked against him; on the contrary, they are stacked in his favor. I preface this review by saying this is one of the coolest, hippest, most “off-the-beaten” path dog-oriented products I’ve ever had the pleasure of reviewing. Ever wonder what to get for the dog lover who seems to have everything? Or maybe a special gift for yourself featuring your little furry darling? Have enough mugs, photo frames and personalized keychains and charms?

Enter Lisa Taron aka “The Pet Book Lady.” For $24.95 Lisa creates a deck of very special playing cards for you. On the front of the deck she did for me are the words “I love my dog” and my little Dexter’s smoochable mug on each of the 52 cards. On the back? Well, there’s the creme de’ la creme: 52 separate images of my boy in all his glory. Even the Joker!!!

I plan to frame this deck of cards and give a few to friends as gifts. Imagine having company and using these playing cards. You can put anything on them. Have your own business? Put different products on them. Promote your animal rescue cause. Put a dog in need on each of the 52 cards. Want to get the whole family involved? The sky’s the limit.

Lisa told me, “Basically readers can go to Make Books Online or The Pet Book Lady and sign up for a free account.  From there they can create their own playing cards using our templates or creating from scratch.  As the Pet Book Lady I have templates that I can transfer to my customers too.”

These cards are so much fun. I really have a new favorite hot product. If the cards are stacked IN your favor, you’ll love them just as much!
