HOTEL LUCIA - Delivering Calm in Downtown Portland

Hotel Lucia epitomizes Portland, a city famed for pushing the boundaries of creativity. Centrally located downtown, it is home to the world's largest permanent collection of black and white photographs by Pulitzer prize-winning photographer and Portland native David Hume Kennerly and two acclaimed restaurants by James Beard Award-winner and Iron Chef America champion Vitaly Paley.

At Imperial, Paley and Executive Chef Benjamin Bettinger explore heritage cooking methods using ingredients from Portland’s diverse bounty and a custom-made wood-fired grill. Inspired by campfires and the big open spaces of the Pacific Northwest, Imperial is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Paley’s second restaurant at Hotel Lucia is named after the coin that Frances Pettygrove and Asa Lovejoy flipped to decide Portland’s name in 1845 and explores the diverse immigrant food cultures in the Pacific Northwest in a counter service diner with relaxed seating and grab and go options.  Hotel Lucia also boasts two meeting room with 2,030 sq. ft. of space and catering provided by Paley and his team.
