With pet adoption rates through the roof and a bright spot for many over the last year, this National Dog Day (August 26) will have many pet-parents celebrating a new addition to the family.

New Pup Perks at Kimpton:
From private puppy parties at Kimpton Hotel Monaco Denver to complimentary puppuccinos and doggy ice cream at Kimpton Taconic Hotel, The Kimpton Cardinal and The Kimpton Alton to photo opps and Pet, Step & Repeats to commemorate a trip together at The Kimpton Shorebreak, The Kimpton George and Kimpton Hotel Monaco DC and even more elevated welcome treats, like dog-friendly beer, throughout the month of August, Kimpton is ready to celebrate pets like never before.
Kimpton Shorebreak Hotel – Huntington Beach, CA
- Throughout August, upon check-in, pets will get the royal treatment with treats, a Shorebreak bandana and photo opp, with each pet polaroid posted on a VIP board for all guests to enjoy.
Kimpton Taconic Hotel – Manchester, VT
- On National Dog Day, the property will be sharing free doggie ice cream with all of its four-legged guests. Throughout the entire month of August, the Taconic has a Pampered Pooch package:
- Personalized welcome and dog amenity
- Plush Orvis dog bed and good bowls in-room
- Timberland USA braided collar
- Doggie Dessert – the perfect frozen dog treat
- Dog-friendly hiking and outdoor adventure recommendations
The Kimpton Cardinal – Winston-Salem, NC
- Mini bars are stocked with “Bowser Beer” for pups with a special puppy ice cream available on request.
- At check-in, the Cardinal is also offering a complimentary gourmet milk bone from local dog bakery, Howlin’ At The Moon.
- Throughout August, The Katherine Brasserie & Bar on-property will be offering complimentary “Puppuccinos on the Patio” for furry friends
The Kimpton George Hotel and Kimpton Monaco Hotel, Washington DC
- All August long, both DC properties are encouraging furry friends to strike a pose on their Pet, Step & Repeat. The doggy backdrop will be set up in each hotel lobby with a selection of pet props and costumes. Pet parents can snap photos of their pups to hang in their personal galleries and commemorate the trip.
The Kimpton Alton – San Francisco, CA
- In addition to Kimpton’s standard pet amenities, in August, The Alton will be offering complimentary Puppuccinos during morning coffee & tea service.
Kimpton Vero Beach Hotel & Spa – Vero Beach, FL
- Upon check-in, dogs will receive a Pet Gift Bag filled with doggy treats and brightly colored tennis balls for play time.
Kimpton Saint George – Toronto
- Dog bowls, beds and treats provided to all pups that walk through the door.
- Treats are always available at the front desk!
Kimpton Hotel Monaco Denver
- From August 26-29, pet owners can book the Pawtastic Puppies + Prosecco Package for National Dog Day.
- Book a night in one of the property’s luxury suites and receive a private puppy party with puppies from Lifeline Puppy Rescue. Enjoy puppy kisses and prosecco and small bites from Panzano.
- Fifty percent of the proceeds will be donated to Lifeline Puppy Rescue, a local no-kill rescue for young puppies.
Kimpton Pittman Hotel – Dallas
· In addition to Kimpton’s standard pet policy, all pups who enter the Pittman will have access to a bottomless dog treat bowl at entry and additional dog treats via the mini bar. Dog beds and water bowls are also available upon request.
