FIDO loves tricks and this INCREDIBLE dog knows how to put on a show. Mark your calendar and tune in this Saturday, January 12th!
The world record for dog diving was recently broken with a distance of 32 feet, 3 inches at the Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge National Finals in Gray Summit, Mo. this past October. The record is a full 2 feet, 7 ½ inches farther than any human has ever jumped and readers can watch this amazing leap on Saturday, January 12, at 5:00 p.m. EST (4:00 p.m. CST) on NBC.
Vhoebe, a Belgian Malinois (and featured above) from San Diego, Calif., has owned the Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge record twice in the past three years, finally reclaiming her crown at this year’s Finals. Her astonishing dive has also been featured on ESPN’s SportCenter’s Top 10.
The Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge is a one-of-a-kind canine competition showcasing the world’s most athletic dogs and their trainers. Vhoebe, along with many other talented pet pooches, will be broadcasted competing in a variety of “Olympic-style” events such as agility, freestyle flying disc, Jack Russell hurdle races, speed and catch, 30-weave pole racing and of course, the crowd favorite—dog diving.
