Spring Naturals Announces September’s “Spring Into Action” Winner

FIDO was excited to hear that Spring Naturals, a new line of dinners and treats for dogs, had congratulated Jennifer Williams as their September “Spring Into Action” everyday hero!

Here is Jennifer’s story….
A dedicated animal rescuer, Jennifer is a natural in her role at Foster2Home as Adoption Coordinator and even serves as a Board Member for the organization. Not only does Jennifer coordinate and attend weekly adoption events at the local PetSmart in Rolling Meadows, IL, she effectively communicates between the Foster2Home team members, foster families, and volunteers. She works tirelessly to ensure all of the rescued dogs get placed in suitable foster homes. Just recently, she went above and beyond to help coordinate the foster placement of 21 new arrivals to the rescue. On top of it all, Jennifer writes and distributes the monthly Foster2Home newsletter. She is an incredible asset to the Foster2Home rescue family and always finds a way to say “yes” to helping the dogs.

Jennifer’s story is highlighted on the Spring Naturals Facebook page in recognition for her ongoing contributions to the pet world, and to inspire other fans. In honor of her everyday hero status, Jennifer will receive a complementary 26 lb. bag of Spring Naturals dog dinners, plus a 6 oz. pouch of Spring Naturals treats – a $75 retail value. Additionally, the Houston Sheltie Sanctuary will receive two 26 lb. bags of dog dinners to help feed the dogs in their care – a $140 retail value.

Follow the campaign as more everyday heroes are nominated for a chance to win the “Spring Into Action” Grand Prize – $2,000 worth of Spring Naturals dog dinners plus a $500 cash donation to the animal rescue organization of their choice. The Grand Prize winner, and recipient of this prize, will be announced June 1, 2013.

More about “Spring Into Action”
The “Spring Into Action” program kicked-off May 1st, 2012 and will run through May 2013, honoring a different animal advocate making a difference in their community each month. To nominate an everyday hero, participants can post their hero’s story and photo directly to the Spring Naturals Facebook page via the “Spring Into Action” tab or email springintoaction@springnaturals.com. Stories must be no longer than 100 words and accompanied by a high-res photo less than 3MB (as a .JPEG or .GIF).

In homage of this program, Spring Naturals is sponsoring a 1.5 year-old mixed breed female, appropriately named Spring, from Project Rescue Chicago (www.projectrescuechicago.org). Spring was recently adopted and is living in Chicago with her new family. The brand will continue to provide dinners and treats to feed the pup for one year. By sponsoring Spring the dog, Spring Naturals hopes to encourage others to do good deeds for animals in need and support pet adoption.
