STAY PET HOTEL TO HOLD “STAY SMART” SEMINAR SERIES

FIDO loves this five-month series that will feature local pet experts speaking on topics of acupuncture, behavior, massage, nutrition and boarding. Check out the dates below and mark your calendars - FIDO is!
PORTLAND, Ore. - Stay Pet Hotel, Portland's premier boutique hotel for dogs, is pleased to announce the Stay Smart seminar series. The eries will feature local pet experts who will speak on key topics ffecting animal and their owners. The series is open to the public nd will be held at Stay Pet Hotel, located at 3606 NE Columbia Blvd,
the first Thursday of May and June and the third Thursday of July from :30 - 7:30pm.
The cost to attend is $10 per session. Each session will include a resentation followed by hands-on training, demonstrations a Q&A session.
The speaker lineup is as follows:
* May 2 - Dr. Darcy Hoyt, DVM and Certified Veterinarian Acupuncturist with At Home Veterinary Acupuncture. Dr. Hoyt will explore what to look for in an acupuncture practitioner, the basics of Chinese medicine and acupuncture theory and commonly treated conditions.
* June 6 - Dr. Chris Pachel, DVM and Veterinary Behaviorist at Animal Behavior Clinic. Dr. Pachel will speak about the social behavior of dogs (both dog/dog as well as dog/people).
* July 18 - Kim Hormby, owner of Stay Pet Hotel. Kim will focus on dog boarding, including how to prepare, necessary vaccines and a look behind the scenes at Stay.
