The Sleepypod Mobile Pet Bed is a pet carrier and at-home bed all in one. For travel, the Sleepypod comes equipped with a mesh dome top, which can be opened at the top by a double zipper. The domes mesh allows for maximum visibility for your pet on the go. For at home use, the dome zips completely off for use as a bed for your Fido.
We are very impressed with the rigidity of the dome and the all-around, well-constructed carrier. Sleepypod is a highly durable carrier that can hold a dog up to 12.5 pounds, or a cat up to 15 pounds.
We received a Sleepypod carrier in Arctic White, but they also come in five other colors: Strawberry Red, Jet Black, Sky Blue, Blossom Pink and Chocolate Brown.
Our two test kitties took to the Sleepypod as a bed within days. Charlie loved sleeping in his ultra-plush new bed right away. This is what sets the Sleepypod carrier apart from the crowd: having a carrier that doubles as a bed allows our kitties to feel safe and secure in their surrounds; this feeling will be transported with them when the dome top is zipped on and we are off for an otherwise-stressful routine vet visit. The Sleepypod Luxury pet carrier is the carrier our kitties do not want to leave when they arrive back home safely.
For travel, the Sleepypod comes with a removable padded strap for ultimate people comfort. The Sleepypod dome easily accommodates seatbelts for safety during vehicle travel. To use, it is as easy as slipping the shoulder belt under the carrying handle before closing it with its heavy-duty Velcro fastener. That’s it!
For occasional vet visits, travelling to grandma’s house, or just a ride across town, the Sleepypod Luxury pet carrier is sure to please even the finickiest of pets and attract a lot of attention! The sleek styling of this carrier will not only keep our beloved pets safe and sound on the go, but also generate a lot of compliments.

The Sleepypod carrier comes with a removable mesh dome top with carrying handle, machine washable and replaceable bedding, padded shoulder strap, a water-resistant foam liner and instructions for use. A low-power Warmer Pad or replacement bedding can be purchased separately. Be aware that the regular size Sleepypod does not meet airline regulations, but the Sleepypod Air does.
