I was sent a bottle of Splash Plus Clear Skin Shampoo to try out on my black Lab, Junior. Junior and his rescue brother Jake travel all over the country with us each year for our annual pet adoption tour: Get Your Licks on Route 66®. So many different climates to be exposed to and Junior seems to be bothered the most with itching.
Recently he had be scratching, we call it the ‘spring scratch' so was great time to experiment with this shampoo.
Splash Plus Clear Skin Shampoo was developed by veterinary dermatologists to help calm the most challenging sensitive skin conditions.
Atopic Dermatitis, Infectious Dermatitis, Allergic Dermatitis and other sensitive skin conditions benefit from the cleansing, conditioning and odor eliminating compounds of splash, energized with the plus of salicylic acid, for a deeper clean.
It is recommended that you wash your pet three times the first week, reducing frequency to weekly, depending on your pet’s skin care needs. Splash Plus is, however, safe for everyday use.
Juniors daily scratching has slowed down quite a bit and we will continue to use it and bring it along on our upcoming cross-country pet adoption tour!
