FIDO Friendly fun Wisconsin style!

In the Wisconsin area and looking for something fun to do with your dog for the day? We discovered this fun event thanks to Rosalyn at Pets-R-Loved. Rosalyn will be at the show with her pawssome products, so be sure to tell her FIDO Friendly sent you! Rosalyn does some awesome embroidery from a pet's photo!!!!
Bark and Roll at Mears Park is A fundraising event that celebrates our love for pets. There will be:
- dachshund races and dachshund best nose contest*
- pet parade and costume contest
- animal blessings
- silent auction
- guests of honor...Officer John Jorgensen and his retired partner, K-9 officer Major from the Roseville Police Department--
- face paintings and caricatures
- exhibitors from across the Twin Cities offering cool things
All the festivities take place at Mears Park, in the historic Lowertown district of Saint Paul. Mears Park is sort of like Central Park in New York. A little smaller than Central Park, it's a big park in Saint Paul; with the same New York City feel.
Bring your pet and join the pet parade being led by the Saint Paul K-9 unit. Cheer on the dachshunds as they race to the finish line. Meet the inspiring pets from Home for Life®. Visit all the exhibitors that will be there with the newest, and best products and services for your pet.
