We hade a great turnout! 10 applications were taken that day and ARF will choose just the right adoptee for each pet. $176.00 was raised with our spinning wheel and donated to ARF at the end of the day. Thanks to our spinning wheel sponsors (please visit our website for list) https://www.fidofriendly.com/article/get-your-licks-on-route-66-2012 , attendees walked away with great prizes and helped support a worthy cause.

St. Louis, MO
Humane Society of Missouri

Human Society of MO is a very busy shelter. Rescues from puppy mills are a priority. One lucky puppy was adopted who was a puppy mill rescue and his new mom was totally smitten. The puppy had to have dental work as the mill rescues are typically malnourished. She does not know how to walk on a leash yet but her new mom is determined to love her back to health and patiently teach her how to be a dog.

About the Humane Society of Missouri http://www.hsmo.org/

Since 1870, the Humane Society of Missouri has been dedicated to second chances. We provide a safe and caring haven to all animals in need - large and small - that have been abused, neglected or abandoned. Our mission is to end the cycle of abuse and pet overpopulation through our rescue and investigation efforts, spay/neuter programs and educational classes. We are committed to creating lasting relationships between people and animals through our adoption programs. We further support that bond by making available world-class veterinary care, and outstanding pet obedience and behavior programs. The animals thank you for your support.

and by educating the community on animal welfare issues.

Three pets were adopted by the time we left with many deserving pets still needing forever homes.
