Hotel Lincoln Hosts “Lincoln Park’s Cutest Pooch”

Mark your calendars - HOTEL LINCOLN is hosting "LINCOLN PARK'S CUTEST POOCH" COMPETITION September 14th.
Set in the heart of Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood with Lincoln Park in their backyard and the nearby 18-mile recreation path along Lake Michigan, Hotel Lincoln (1816 N. Clark) is prime for pet-friendly travel and is bringing their passion for pets to life with the first "Lincoln Park's Cutest Pooch" dog show on Saturday, September 14 from 10am to 12pm. The hotel is inviting dog-lovers citywide to bring their pooches to the south edge of Lincoln Park (near the 1800 block, between Clark and Stockton), for their chance to win the glorious title of Lincoln Park's Cutest Pooch as well as some drool-worthy prizes fit for Fido and his owner. Guests will also be able bid on various silent auction items and win raffle prizes with all proceeds benefitting PAWS Chicago. Treats and water will be provided for dogs attending and participating in the festivities. The event is free to attend and no registration fee is required to enter the competition. 
Dog Lovers Know Best
Some of Chicago's biggest dog lovers will judge the friendly competition, including Megan Glaros of CBS 2 Chicago and Erica Levin of Cheeky Chicago. The experienced dog owners will judge the contestants based on costume, personality, talent and overall pizazz. Along with taking home the top trophy and title of Lincoln Park's Cutest Pooch, the Grand Prize winner will receive a weekend stay at Hotel Lincoln fit for a canine king, including deluxe overnight accommodations, doggie turndown service (featuring a dog bed and water & food bowls), and a doggie amenity kit providing cookies and a toy to keep as mementos. Three runners-up will receive a Doggie Prize Pack, stuffed full of treats and gift certificates to some of Chicago's top pet-friendly establishments.
PAWS Chicago and Prizes for All
As a supporter of Chicago's largest no kill humane organization from day one, Hotel Lincoln is proud to partner with PAWS Chicago on this event. Guests will have a chance to mingle with some of PAWS Chicago's pets that are looking for a nice home throughout the "best in show" competition. In addition, Hotel Lincoln has organized several raffle prizes and silent auction items with all proceeds benefitting PAWS. Items include airline tickets, overnight stays at other Joie de Vivre pet-friendly properties, tickets to the PAWS Animal Magnetism event in February, subscription to BARK Magazine as well as packages to some of Chicago's finest dining establishments.
