Paradise 4 Paws, airport cat and dog resorts welcome all pets and have also enhanced all safety measures post COVID-19 with curbside drop-off and pick-up with card-on-file to enable contactless payments and limit in-person interaction. They are requiring advanced reservations for boarding and advanced notice for drop-off outside of normal daycare hours. For those clients not using curbside drop-off, there’s a limit of one client at a time in the lobby with limited direct interaction with staff members. All clients need to wear masks or face coverings and fresh gloves as per CDC guidelines.

Kevin Tebbe, marketing manager, adds that “During these uncertain times, we want to assure you there are two things you can be certain of, that today and always – our pets are there for us, and Paradise 4 Paws |Pooch Hotel is here for you and your pets. In response to COVID-19, we have enhanced our safety measures to protect our guests, customers and teams that include: curbside drop off and pick-up, contactless payment options, limiting the number of clients inside our location, limiting pet belongings to food/medication, frequent cleaning of high traffic areas, and we are encouraging customers and requiring employees to wear masks/face coverings and gloves. We will continue to take all necessary precautions to ensure a safe and clean environment for everyone. Given the current environment of social distancing, it’s important for dogs to continue to receive mental stimulation, exercise and proper socialization so they can better adjust and adapt to life when things go back to normal and pet parents aren’t home all the time. In the meantime, daycare is perfect for your energetic and (too often) mischievous #caninecoworker – where they can play with friends during the day and not distract you during that zoom call for work! Our award-winning pet resorts and hotels offer all-suite dog and cat boarding, doggie daycare, grooming and spa, training (virtual classes offered), our Paw Perks® loyalty program, and more! We know you’ll love our 24/7 check-in/check-out convenience, webcam access, first-class Pawcierge service, premium suite options, bone-shaped splashing pool (available at our resorts), and our easy to use MyParadise|MyPooch online customer portal – to name a few.”
Enjoying a fun spa day with fur kid day campers at Pet Paradise Rio Rancho, New Mexico means comprehensive pet care, day camp, grooming, and veterinary services in more than 40 locations. The Dog House, Boise, Idaho offers doggies day camp with supervised play, social interaction, training as well as plenty of goodies from its own bakery together with specialty dog items. Pet lovers understand the importance of overnight care and boarding if needed after a day filled with fun and lots of play time. The Dog-House offers climate-controlled rooms, and has upped the ante with coronavirus safety measures.

“ Our facility has a 4x4 fenced and gated area around the front door on the inside. We have asked all customers to remain inside this area with their dog until a camp counselor is present, at which time they are instructed to remove their dogs leash and collar and open the gate to let their dog in,” explains Carly, manager, The Dog House.
“All surfaces touched are thoroughly disinfected after each customer and hand sanitizer is provided at the register for those customers needing to come in and pay for services. One customer at a time in the gated area and one inside, 2 customers total inside the building at any given time. Any items brought for slumber party guests are handled with gloves until properly sanitized and are re-sanitized and handled with gloves upon guest’s departure. All areas of the store that have been occupied, are thoroughly cleaned at the end of the day. We are also offering a discount and/or payment arrangements to anyone facing financial difficulties due to covid19.”
For those who enjoy doggie day camp, Carly adds “We know that routine is very important to our furry friends and are encouraging our day camp friends to continue their normal day camp schedule, even if their parents are working from home. They love the extra time with Mom and/or Dad but it is also very important that they get to see their furry friends and the familiar faces of the camp counselors they have come to know as part of their pack. The entry routine may have changed but once inside, we are careful to make sure that each dogs experience is what they are used to, whether they are staying for the day or for the weekend. Dogs don't understand "quarantine" and "social distancing", it is our job as responsible pet owners, to make their lives as normal as possible and that is what we at The Dog House are working to help parents achieve. Both Justin and my personal phone numbers have been made available to all customers for any questions or concerns that they might have, or even if they just need a friendly ear. Our customers and their fur babies are family to us and we are working to be as available as possible to our Dog House Family.”
No matter where your next adventure takes you with Fido, you can rest assured that Fido-Friendly hotels and pet resorts have enforced COVID-19 safety measures to keep pets and pet parents protected, ensuring the wellbeing of everyone during these uncertain times.
