The Four Seasons Barn House - Destination of the Day

The Four Seasons Barn House - A visit to Door County by Susan Sims, Publisher

Door County, Wisconsin is known as the New England of the Midwest. So what better place to spend a few days while visiting then in a renovated Barn with Fido? The Four Seasons Barn House was originally built in the late 1800’s and is tucked away along side a quiet country road between Ephraim, Baileys Harbor and Sister Bay. The quaint setting provides a tranquil getaway and is close to all activities Door County is famous for.

I admit, once we were ensconced in our cozy digs, we were hard pressed to decide whether to venture out or stay home and BBQ dinner with the promise of a roaring campfire under the stars to look forward to. Your hosts also remember Fido with a basket filled with toys.

Located on eight acres, take your morning coffee and stroll around the property. You will discover a sauna, weight room, ping-pong table and even a tennis court.

Your group or just a couple with Fido, can gather around the fireplace in the living room after a day of sightseeing and plan the next day’s adventure. But I warn you; it might be hard to leave the comforts of The Four Seasons Barn House once you settle in.

The Four Seasons Barn House sleeps six and when you visit to make your reservations, you will see a few images of this fabulous getaway. The owners are just across the drive and are there should you need anything. Tell them FIDO Friendly said hello!
