Having an ill-behaved dog is typically a burden for owners, but for Chris and Mariesa, finding Meatball was a blessing in disguise.
Coming into their home with what behaviorists are calling autism for dogs, the Hughes family couldn't turn their backs on Meatball after he was rejected from 3 adoptive homes. Wearing a weighted vest and frequently getting vacuumed to calm his nerves, Meatball is one happy guy...as long as he's got a tennis ball!
