DOGTV Wants to Make Your FIDO Famous

It’s National Dog Day and to celebrate our four-legged furry friends, FIDO’s friends at DOGTV, the recently launched and highly popular television network created just for dogs, is launching the “Make My Dog Famous” contest to find the most iconic dog. The contest lets owners place their dog’s photo into DOGTV’s logo, using the CrowDog Sourcing platform, and have their pooch prominently featured on DOGTV coast-to-coast. Once a photo has been uploaded, dog owners can share it with friends and will be notified when the logo starring their dog will be broadcast.
CrowDog Sourcing is an innovative project that allows dog owners to create their own DOGTV logo, starring their pooch. DOGTV created its CrowDog Sourcing platform to harness its community of dog lovers and generate customized programming for the network. This is the very first time a TV network has shared its logo with consumers and their four-legged friends.
To enter DOGTV’s “Make My Dog Famous” contest, owners upload their dog’s photo to the CrowDog Sourcing platform before Sept. 15. On Sept. 16, DOGTV will post a gallery of the top 100 entries to its Facebook page for voting. The winner will be featured on DOGTV on Woct. 4) and will receive an entire year’s worth of PetBox.
