Fetch a New Pet with NonProfit Adopt and Shop’s Grand Opening

On May 13th, Los Angeles’ largest nonprofit humane pet adoption and retail center Adopt & Shop will open its second location in Culver City.
Founded by Michelson Found Animals , Adopt & Shop’s Lakewood, CA location has already united over 2,600 adoptable dogs and cats from local shelters with loving homes and caring families since opening in April 2011. By adding a new location and facilitating more pet adoptions, Adopt & Shop saves the lives of at-risk animals and ultimately reduces euthanasia rates in shelters. Each dog and cat is ready to be welcomed into a home and has been spayed or neutered, microchipped, and is current on their vaccinations.
A key differentiator about Adopt & Shop – it unites a trinity of factors: pet adoption, retail and philanthropy. Adopt & Shop provides total support for families and their pets, offers guidance during the adoption process and provides services including day care at Adopt & Shop Playtime, grooming at Adopt & Shop Untangled and dog training classes through Adopt & Shop Academy.
The store’s retail center is filled with quality and unique products to support happy and healthy pets. A percentage of all sales will be donated back into helping shelters – fulfilling a cycle of philanthropy.
